I want to say something like "Evidently, through the young scout’s experience, the reader learns that there is no room for compassion when it comes to enimity."

I know enimity isn't a word...but I need a word to replace it..and I can't find the RIGHT one...Any ideas??

Thanks in advance =]]

maybe instead of enimity use rivalry... i think that sounds good. another word for enemy is foe but iam not sure how you would work that into the sentence.
