You cant give item donations over the phone, if it is a charitable organization, like a food and clothes closest, then why not? Giving what you don't need makes you a better person, just think of who will benefit from your donation.
Money, it's not a very good idea to give credit cards and other info over the phone, they could be scamming you.

No, I drop old clothes off at a local women in need place and give food to the local United Way. I like keeping my donations in the area where I live instead of having that shipped off to somewhere else.

I have in hardship-free words 2 charities calling me at residing house, the education guide canines for the blind and the NSW rural hearth provider. they in hardship-free words ever ring once a three hundred and sixty 5 days so it would not hardship me. i do not ideas donating to the agricultural hearth provider because the position I stay is surrounded via nationwide parks. throughout the time of bushfire season my area is a best objective. So making a donation will probable come back to assist me promptly faster or later. i'm getting the education guide canines calendar each 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, so that is unlike i'm out of pocket donating to the education guide canines. i do not hear from the different charities. it should be because i'm on the do not call sign in.

Not over the phone, you never know where the money goes. Clothes and so on I'll donate through the charity bins.

On the few occasions I have what they need, I will give it to them. If it's money, they're out of luck.
