I do, but I am scared my eyes will mess up. I enjoy traveling into another world, books are always better than movies.

I love to read too! You are correct, books are way better than movies. There is nothing like reading a good book and jumping into that world. Your eyes will be fine. Just be sure you have plenty of light when you are reading, so that your eyes won't be strained. And don't hold the book too close to your eyes. If you are doing that, you must need glasses. My favorite authors include: Harlan Coben, Dean Koontz, Richard Laymon, Stephen King, Bentley Little, Carrie Vaughn...the list could go on and on....Happy Reading!

I love to read! Movies and TV are so limited...you can only see what they want you to see. With books, your imagination can soar far beyond the pages to other worlds, new places and new ideas. True stories would have been lost had it not been for the written word. I think, about how you're scared that your eyes will be messed up, that nothing should deter you from what you love to do.

Oh YEAH I Love to read. It's one of the best things I do during the day. Sometimes I have that feeling but it's ok. I love to read novels and science fiction books they are the BEST! I get soooooooooooo lost when I read a book I am totally in another world!

I use to read about 10 books every month, and reading during night isn't good for your eyes at all. When my uncle said I needed light when i read or my eyes would get messed up...he wasn't kidding.

I love to read, the skill it takes to create a new world and lovable characters is astounding. Books are better than movies because you learn more and get a better detailed description about what is going on. Plus everyone has their own image of the same characters we read, which is great because it expands our imagination.

yes, if the book has some educational value, otherwise I feel guilty and should be reading one my textbooks for uni :)
but I know what you mean, try to set a time limit and don't read when you're tired, even though you might really want to know what happens next.
