Yes, they do hibernate in cold weather. Since they are cold blooded creatures they have no way of regulating their body temperature. Hibernation allows them the opportunity to preserve life until warmer weather.

no reptile hibernates. it goes doormat and it's unsafe for them if they stay that way for a long time. No turtles don't. It's also called winter shut down they become slower and eat less if at all and in most cases if you are trying to breed then you want them to go through this, it stimulates them better.

yup they do, but only in cold weather, if your country is always summer than they normally don't
like my one, I live in Malaysia, and my two tortoise never hibernate

yes. this happened to my friends 2 last year. give them a heat lamp. they are just feeling the cold.
