I do and for those her are just rude, I don't give them an up or a down. Why give them the satisfaction either way right?

Yes, and not only those who answer MY questions, but even those who answer the questions of others. I don't give too many thumbs down, either (unless the character was way out-of-line), but I give a lot of thumbs up.

The last i gave someone a thumbs up was when i went to a dodgeball tournament featuring the Purple Cougars and the Average Joes and when Chuck Norris looked at me for a response as to whether or not he should allow them to play the final match, i gave him the thumbs up and mouthed "The show must go on."

I do if they give a good answer and they deserve it. If the answer is nasty, I'll give it a thumbs down. If an answer gets enough thumbs down, Y! Answers will hide it.
