ok i downloaded the software named windows vista upgrade advisor and it tells me my comp can run vista and my comp's cpu is AMD 1.80 GHz AND The vista upgrade advisor tells me it can run vista but then i went to the website of my processor AMD.COM and i evaluate my pc there to see if it can run vista and it tells me i cannot run vista which one should i listen upgrade advisor which i downloaded from microsoft.com or the amd evaluator??

Of course Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor is gonna say it's ok. WVUA is made by the boys in Redmond. I think I'd trust your AMD web site.

Run WVUA again and look through every page of cautions. I'll bet it's gonna say you may have problems with your video card. Also be advised that your drivers will all need to be replaced, so check out all your printers and periperals web sites to make sure they have Vista drivers availalbe.
