Since women are frequently the primary caregivers, I tend to agree. Women spoil their darling little angel boys, never say no, always bail them out, let them interrupt, get their way, hear how no woman is good enough for their precious baby, etc. all the time, then when they grow up and treat women like sh*t, they act so surprised.
Dads are to blame too for not enforcing and role-modeling properly, but I have to place the majority of the blame on whoever was around the child most during his formative years.

I think "that women allow it" is a lot of it, considering strippers and hookers and women who use sex as an income. How can you respect these professions, and the bimbo's they portray? There's playboy and penthouse, and "Married With Children" Kelly Bundy is a perfect character to illustrate my point. Respect comes from other's admiration of a display of self-discipline, or courage, or strength. When you're flipping your hair and giggling, it's hard for anyone take you seriously.
I am a firm DISbeliever of male chauvinism, but I can understand how they can think like that, because of the way a lot of women behave.
When we show we deserve respect, we'll get it...and by then I don't think we will care about it because we'll have risen to a higher level.
But you know what? When we get there, I bet you the men will still be on the same plane

Yes their mother has not always taught them but some men are just like this because they are mean and self centered. we should not be rude to our men and they should not be rude to us. I do feel that some women do allow it but like i said respect and being nice should be mutual and go both ways.

Its that the mother raised them ino believing that no woman is good enough for them and so they grow up not thinking about how things affect you, if the mother believed it was okay then hey as long as she wouldnt diapprove, their relationship is "sacred" the woman raised them but so long as they are happy, just look at all of the songs rappers and stuff sing for their mothers, and then look at how most mothers raise their sons "saying that the girl has to be this way for them and how she should be, the mom could have been a little "loose" herself but hey only she could take care of him the way shes supposed to. its a cycle

It is probably the same reason that woman are also rude to men sometimes. I hate generalized statements. They are terrible. it's not different than saying something about a black person, or a hispanic person, or whatever. But, I guess ignorance continues to reign supreme.

a bit of both i think. if they have grown up seeing women disrespected they willl think ita alright to do the same thing. but its also down to how strong the woman is. if the woman takes it and doesnt stand up for herself, the man willl cntinue to treat her this way...
