how do i get a pikachu in pkmn ruby?

pikachu is in ruby & sapphire he or she is in the safari zone i know this because i just put a red pokeblock in the feeder i ran in the grass a little bit and he came out just go 2 the safari zone the first set of grass with the pokeblock feeder put in a red pokeblock in the feeder run in the grass and he or she will come out. good luck :)

First, I believe you need to beat the Elite 4. Then, some Kanto and Johto Pokemon will be added to the Safari Zone. Pikachu is one such Pokemon. He is rare. Also, if you want to, you can trade one from Pokemon FireRed or LeafGreen.

You have to get emerald or an earlier version of the pokemon game, anyways in emerald go to the safari zone, capture it and then trade it onto ruby
