No he does'nt In my opinion Tom Brady is 2nd, he gets the job done with the Most mediocre of WRs and a beaten up defense (those players on defense aren't getting any younger). He won 3 super bowls with the No name gang of wideouts and developed Deion Branch into a pro bowler, and each and every year they win their division and finish with 10 or more wins.
Peyton on the other hand has Reggie Wayne(Pro Bowler), Marvin Harrison(hall of famer), Joseph Addai (he has proven himself this year), Dominic Rhodes (after a few years of backing up the edge you probably pick up on a couple things) for his supporting cast.
So I would say Peyton has a more comfy couch to sit on.
My top 10 Qbs of all time
1.Brett Favre (the Steve Yzerman of the NFL)
2.Tom Brady (you finish next to the guy above anyda)
3.John Elway
4.Dan Marino
5.Dan Fouts(greatest to never win)
6.Johnny Unitas
7.Peyton Manning
8.Joe Montana
9.Warren Moon
10.Fran Tarkenton
Brett Favre deserves a lot of respect.

Playing QB is about winning Championships.
Payton Manning has only won one.
Bart Starr won 5 Championships.
Terry Bradshaw won 4.
Joe Montana won 4.
Johnny Unitas won 3.
Tom Brady won 3.
BUT the GREATEST QB of ALL TIME
OTTO GRAHAM played in 10 League Championships in 10 years. And he won 7 Championships in a 10 year career.
(In the 1954 NFL Championship game he ran for 3 tds and passed for 3 tds) He was voted all league 9 out of 10 years.

Your list is flawed. Joe Montana should be on there, as should Johnny Unitas. And Elway and Young maybe on that list. But Farve and Marino should not be on there at all. I'd also put Brady into consideration with those like Elway and Young especially. He may be young, but he did have a big part in those three Super Bowls and the Playoff leading up to them.
Manning got lucky with refs that were rooting for him, as well as a defense that came to his offense's aid because the offense sucked in the Playoffs..... Manning, best of all time, not by a long shot buddy....

it really is not because Manning loses, yet because the way he loses. In 2003-04 Manning threw 4 interceptions to a similar participant. In 2004-05 at the same time as Manning set the TD record he had really his worst performance contained in the Divisional antagonistic to the Pats. In 2007-08 antagonistic to San Diego, the Colts grew to grow to be the ball over on downs two times at the same time as Manning had a probability to convey his team again to the game. In 2008-09, the 12-4 Colts lost contained in the first round antagonistic to the 8-8 Chargers. In 2009-10, he threw that serious interception to Tracy Porter. particular Brady hasn't gained on account that 2004, yet he hasn't made such expensive blunders. antagonistic to the Giants he had decrease than a minute left to force the ball eighty yards and it really is very nearly not available once you've the protection purely attempting to steer away from massive effective factors. same antagonistic to the Colts in 2006-07. very last season contained in the first around the Ravens were only a miles better effective team and outplayed the Pats. the in hardship-free words undesirable mistake Brady has made contained in the postseason grow to be throwing that interception contained in the purple zone antagonistic to Champ Bailey that grow to be very nearly again for TD, and nonetheless it wasn't a play that determined the outcome of the game because it grow to be too early.

He will be one of the best when he is done. I wouldnt even say he is the best of his era because I would take Brady over Manning just due to his current playoff record, of course that could change. I also dont think players of this time period can be compared to guys like Unitas simply because the rules have changed, defenses cant ruff up offensive guys like they used to which obviously improves numbers. Manning is a GREAT but he is not the G.O.A.T. I dont think there is a G.O.A.T.

At the moment, I don't believe he does. I mean he has a ccomplished alot in his time in the league thus far. But he just won a superbowl and MVP. All those guys listed above have done the exact same things he has and have more records. However, I do believe that if he continues to play the way he has been playing until he retires. He will truly be the best ever.

Manning is no way close to being the best. The guy Won just one Superbowl... and One MVP. Hes not even close to being as good as Brady, Farve, Flutie, Gannon, Elway, Unitas, Palmer,Haselbeck , nope hes over hyped like Ben Rotheslbeger

Good question. I could debate that one all day, but I wonder where you would rank Indy's defense? They didn't do **** all season until the playoffs when they played Kansas City and everything else just fell into place from there. Getting past the Patriots was one thing, but then for them to be able to keep up with the Bear's defense and go on to win the SuperBowl is just amazing...to me anyway.

I agree that you can't really judge that sort of thing until after a player retires. If he has the stats and the rings when all is said and done, I say he's definitely top 5
