WRONG!
As pointed out, Canada has two official national sports, and yes hockey is one of them. Lacrosse is indeed the other. The celebration of both games is central to a Canadian identity that is, in part, distinguished as being different from both the U.S. and England (for example, baseball has just as long of a history here in Canada and, in fact, a team from London, Ontario - the Tecumsehs - was invited to join the National League in its early years well over a hundred plus years ago but declined).

i'm a huge OSU fan myself, yet for my area, between the topic matters in college football isn't what number you lose, yet once you lose. in case you flow 9 or 10 weeks into your season and also you lose one sport, you're really finished for the nationwide championship. yet once you're ranked severe, lose on the starting up of the three hundred and sixty 5 days, and win out, your opportunities are severe much better to play contained in the game. regardless of the indisputable fact that Ohio St did lose their 11th sport of the three hundred and sixty 5 days, they did not lose one sport all 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and were ranked #a million close to the proper of the three hundred and sixty 5 days. i'm chuffed as hell that Ohio St is playing contained in the nationwide championship sport, yet i do not agree how communities get into the game. And the following we flow again, resembling very last 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, what can we've 40 9 days in between OSU video games. Why not create some form of 16, or 8 team playoff gadget. they could play on the December saturdays and there would not be this style of lengthy era in between video games. and that i nonetheless don't understand how LSU made it, yet another reason to have a journey like basketball does. It would not should be quite a number of communities, yet when i'm not incorrect, LSU grow to be ranked about eighth of 9th before this weekend, and they made it with 2 losses ?

I am pretty sure that Canada's national sport is lacrosse. Its very weird seeing as hockey is bragged about being Canada's national sport when really it's lacrosse.

It is lacrosse. And even though our minor Lacrosse teams play in the summer, Major League Lacrosse is played in the winter, just like hockey. In the spring our minor teams play field lacrosse, and in the summer they move indoors to play box lacrosse, which is what the pros play.
lacrosse was invented by native canadians, thus, it was around and played LONG before ice hockey was invented.
