Why do women say they only like bad boys, then complain that all men are @$$holes and nice guys don't exist?

siznotch: not all nice guys are weak. And what if he's mean to everyone but you? what then?

hmm ok by nice guys I don't mean boring guys that don't want to have fun. I mean guys that will acually care about you and treat you nice.

Maybe a few "women" (more likely, it's girls) you know do this, but no reasonable grown woman I've ever known "wants a bad boy," never mind complaining that they can't find a "nice guy" when all they look for is bad boys, anyway. If they do they are dumb...you asked why...there's your answer. This was somewhat common in high school, but, they are girls, after all, what do they know? Why do you insist on making such broad generalizations?
If you are in high school (and I assume you are), I can understand where you are coming from. But there ARE nice girls, who want nice guys, even in high school. If you are not, you are associating with the wrong women. Look for women who are not so shallow.

because "women" are not one unit. They are half the world's population, and each one has a different idea about what they want. Some women like bad boys, others want nice guys. Don't act like they are the same.

Why do you generalise and put all women in the same category? How about if you put the word "some" in your questions when you are mystified by what a few women do that makes you come on here and ask such silly questions?

As for my answer, I don't know any women like that, so I don't know.

My take on it is this: Women who are silly enough to choose people that treat them like doormats are actually reflecting who and what they are on the inside. They are insecure and very needy and want womeone that seems stronger. Both are incomplete persons. An outwardly "bad" person is only reflective of who these women are that choose them. They have no right to complain, until they clean their own act up. Men tend to give you exactly what you have conditioned them to give you.

At the begining I usually like bad boys,they are more interesting,but during the time I need love,someone who will take care of me,who will support me,be with me in good and bad,and not to turn for every skirt on the street(it's real humiliations)..very often bed guys have nice a$$es but empty heads and empty hearts...it's very difficult nowdays to find a man to love...

Though you do have a point there, not all nice guys are boring. Then 'gain not all bad boys are necessarily "bad" either, some are capable of change even.

Well, we really don't exactly know what we want. We want a "bad boy" who won't take crap from people, but we also want the "nice guy" who will take us out to dinner and be nice. What we really want is honest guys. It doesn't matter what they're like, as long as they're honest about themselves. It would prevent a lot of heartbreaks.

Theres an old Arab proverb that says, "Women want fried ice." If a woman wants a "nice guy thug", she's probably got a lot of issues that you dont want to deal with.

I've never been attracted to "bad boys." Ever. Neither have any of my female friends. I don't get this stereotype. I guess SOME women may like bad guys, but most of us prefer someone who will treat us well.
