The best brake pad for your Camry is the factory OEM pads, nothing beats them. They fit right the first time. They will not cause brake noise due to incompatible materials. And at approx. $60 for an axle set, they are very comparable in price to a premium aftermarket set of pads. Good luck.

You would have to go to a custom shop. Expensive pad will leave less brake dust, specially if you have mags.

But just buy some from Auto Zone with the life time replacement. Then go online and you can buy brake covers for your tires. It is a shield to prevent brake dust from dirtying your rims. I checked on some and I think they ran $35 a pair for my 98 van.

Good brakes or expensive brakes will stop you all the same. why waste your money. Spend the money you save for the outside of the car. Just like buying the cheap and expensive burger. The meat is the same except for the size.

I had a '82 Toyota Celica in which I did all work on it myself and never once took it to the dealer. You find the dealer wants your first born for repairs. It ran good with about 220,000 miles on it till I got it stolen in '91. Like a dummy, it looked good but I failed to put any theif protection devices. I am fixing up another 82 and this one will have devices on it now. Good luck with yours.

Let's see now, i have bought camry's for like 5 in a row for my wife to drive. I always take to the Toyota Dealer where i buy from and they install genuine Toyota parts on them. I never install anything other than toyota parts on toyota's you start doing that and you'll have nothing but problems. I do that with the Tacoma and the Tundra's we've owned. I install nothing but GM parts on my Chevrolet pickups as well.

Not all brake parts are created equal. I would buy from the dealer and replace pads myself, or buy a good brand name such as Wagner, EIS, or Rayco.
good luck

If you pee down your leg when you hear the price, A cheaper set that's good would be Wagner Thermo-Quiet.
