IQ is a measure of logical and spatial thinking. Hitler had interests in painting and architecture, but was at best a second stringer. He did have major (evil) accomplishments like overthrowing a democratic government and starting a war that killed tens of millions. It's a good thing that his IQ was in the 110 to 120 range. If he had made better decisions early in the war, he could have won. EQ is a measure of emotional intelligence. Hitler was brilliant at manipulating people and his EQ was probably over 180. Conclusion: brilliant but evil.

There are seven recognized types of intelligence.

I think Hitler would have scored high in:

1. Linguistic: Children with this kind of intelligence enjoy writing, reading, telling stories or doing crossword puzzles.

2. Logical-Mathematical
Children with lots of logical intelligence are interested in patterns, categories and relationships. They are drawn to arithmetic problems, strategy games and experiments.

4. Spatial
These children think in images and pictures. They may be fascinated with mazes or jigsaw puzzles, or spend free time drawing, building with Leggos or daydreaming.

6. Interpersonal
Children who are leaders among their peers, who are good at communicating and who seem to understand others' feelings and motives possess interpersonal intelligence.

I can't pin down Hitler's intelligence in each of these areas, and his last couple years were obviously the result of some mental impairment, which makes it extremely difficult to gauge his real IQ. However, I don't think it was extraordinarily high. He was probably just an average intellect who had certain talents which were fortuitously useful at the time.

Hitler's downfall was his arrogance and paranoia. He should have listened to his generals.

If you want to see a great movie about Hitler, watcher "Der Untergang". It's chillingly realistic.

He was brilliant on the inside, but he got twisted when he was 23. So then he tried p*ssing of Russia and France. And then his goons tried taking over but he showed his power by killing all black-haired people. If he had just been let alone and not noticed and a bit less smart, he probably would have been a very good person.

To answer your question, it was percisely 128. Not very high but he showed intelligent qualities.

I know he was an intelligent man. He had to be to gain the position he had. Unfortunately he was also unstable and seriously lacked morals. But I've never seen a source that actually cited his IQ.

Not high enough for him to know better than to attack Russia.

Not sure but one thing I know is that his paintings were amazing!
If it weren't for his antics, he would have been remembered for them easily.
