I dreampt i was looking at a beautiful ocean/ beach and i was sitting next to someone who said "im sorry" then the beach turned into huge waves that kept crashing into us.

Sorry is a term used by people to express apologies in a quicker yet more meaningful way. It is the standard way of doing so. This for most people would be the meaning of it. I'm sorry would mean that they want to apologize for something that has happened or that they have done.
Now, if this was a dream and you want to look for a deeper meaning, it could be a sign of the future in which someone does something to you. A beach would represent happiness and the place of high popularity. Than, something bad would happen as water represents depression and waves represent violence.

I believe this is true. People can say anything but you really know the kind of person they are by how they live their lives. For instance, you may have someone who is always bragging about how many charities they give to, yet in their private life, they cheat on their taxes, don't tell a cashier when they've received too much change, don't answer the door when the paperboy comes to collect, etc. Are they generous or not? They say they are - but their actions show otherwise.

yea that happened to me too... except i was on the toilet... and when she said im sorry she was fat and taking a huge dump... and when she said im sorry i heard i huge fart...and i think it involved squriles?... ANYWAY!
i dont know mabe your feeling guilty about somthing and your dreams are trying to tell you that?.. Or mabe you are just feelling odd. I really had those dreams too but they werent waves it was like i was on a cloud and then some lady says i hope you forgive me and i fall from the cloud..?? its wierd. I do belive it is from guilt though.

It depends who the person is and what they've done. There's a posibility that your subconcious feels that the person should be apologizing to you, or maybe you think that they feel guilty about something. The waves could symbolize that you feel one of you should be punished.
