Did you install the line filters? If you have DSL you need line filters. You may have missed a line or perhaps you placed a line filter on the line that feeds the DSL. The line that feeds the DSL gets no filter. Check your lines. Good luck.

there seems to be a problem with your phone wiring. I have a similar problem but on mine the DSL router or gateway connection is dropped and then it goes back up in a few seconds. that happens everytime the phone rings but it doesn't crash. check your phone wiring make sure the are no loose cables. it might be causing a short thru the phone wiring to your pc. remember that the phone wire carries a small amount of electricity.
good luck

I not sure about the yahoo DSL. But try to install a "DSL Splitter" whereby it split the phone line for phone used and internet line using only one telephone line. With this device, there should not be problem for you.
Hope this may help!!!

You just have one phone line. That happens when you only have one. Get a second phone line and that won't happen. If you don't care about the phone being on while you are on the internet, just unplug the phone line and plug it back in when you are off of the internet. Go Colts:)

did you put those filters on every phone in the house...DSL modem is shipped with few filters...if not enough buy some more.
Same wired is used for phone...analog mode
DSL modem use same wire...digital mode
The only difference is frequency of the signal on the wire used to carry the analog signal versus digital signal.

First you should know from what date this problem occurs in your computer.
the second, what is the last date the computer worked fine.
restore your computer to that date
If you dont know how to restore, ask help

Sounds like you got a problem with your modem or your modem drivers. Delete all the software and try again.
