So my friends and I were in Wal-Mart after a basketball game--my alma mater vs. the college of the town where the Wal-Mart is (these schools are HUGE rivals). When my friends and I are together, we're CRAZY! Anyway, we were in Wal-Mart, goofing off, taking pictures of us doing crazy stuff. We've done it a million times. All of the sudden we hear someone talking on a radio "we've got a camera." This guy comes up to us and really rudely asks "How many cameras do you have?" We say 1 and he gets on his radio and goes "So-and-so [don't remember the name], how many cameras are we supposed to have?" and the other guy says none. He then proceeds to tell us he was giving us 10 seconds to erase all the pictures we took or he'd confiscate the camera. After he left, he had his associates blatantly following us around to make sure we didn't take pictures. Then when we left, he tried accusing us of shoplifting. I'm convinced it was because we were all wearing our college gear.

I don't mind the fact that they were upset with us taking pictures. I'll accept that we're not supposed to take pictures.

However, it was very poor customer service being rude like that and then treating us like criminals.

Had they informed us politely that it was a store policy, I would have had NO PROBLEM putting my camera away.

Hmmm how bizarre!!! My daughter does this all the time,in wal-mart,in fact I took some pictures of her in a tiara at wal-mart. I didn't know this was illegal. What was the big deal. If I were you I would definitely check into doing something about this.

Don't sue. You won't win, and the legal expenses will just make everyone's walmart prices go up. We need to get out of this sue happy culture- the only winners are the lawyers.

Write a letter of complaint to the company and explain the situation. Most likely you will get an apology or at least an explanation.

no longer sue, call or write the candy producer to enable them to be attentive to you acquire expired candy from a save. I even have had this take place and easily referred to as the corporation who made the candy. They have been extra suitable than chuffed to interchange it with a yet another bag of candy. in case you do sue a corporation they'll in basic terms bypass the cost onto the buyer; you and that i.

Perhaps it was because you were loitering in a store, with no intention to buy anything, goofing around and taking pictures, which may technically be legal, but not appropriate. A store is not a playground, and most stores don't like you taking pictures inside. You have nothing to sue over.
