Their hormones change a lot right before their period begins. Their hormones change faster than yours did during puberty. Of couse anybody would be really moody with that going on.

well we are in pain and hormones are going crazy. and its not so fun to have blood rush out of you. and its uncomfortable at times.
i normally get cranky before my period not during unless im in pain.
