I tried but the batteries kept falling out and
he ended up with a bruise on his forehead
but I think he got a buzz out of it.

I don't have a dog! ;-) Infact, we don't even have a doorbell! How weird is that? I'm begging for a doorbell though because you can't tell if it was the door or just a noise! :-(

Ours is a ''pre-doorbell'' as she barks when the person is approaching the house, but has yet to ring the doorbell!

It just seems that way...
They hear someone across the street going into their house and bark just as loud as if someone were knocking on the door...so we do get a few false alarms.

Yes. He always lets us know when somebody comes over.
Just this evening he announced the UPS guy.
He's still learning though. He doesn't understand why we don't get all excited when the neighbor's cat comes over.

Yes, I have one for the front door and one for the back door. Funny thing is, the smallest one has the biggest bark.
