I want to start collecting Comics, but I don't know how to start!

It’s hard to beat the classics: Superman, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, Spider Man, Fantastic Four, X Men, Thor. I’d like to suggest that you go to sites like Superman through the ages, and read all the old Superman stories you can. Then, hyperborea.org, the link to Those who Ride the Lightning (a Flash site) and glcorps.org, a Green Lantern site. There are not as many Marvel related sites, but the on line Marvel Directory at least describes each character, so you can tell the players apart without a scorecard.
Wikipedia has articles on every super hero I know of, and Don Markstein’s Toonopedia is also very good (easier to use, for our purposes.) It covers newspaper strips and movie toons as well as comic books.
Try looking through them and see which ones interest you the most. Then get caught up on the recent history. Then you will be in a position to be able to subscribe to titles you want without being confused as to what’s going on.
I almost envy you. You are about to embark on a great adventure, which will give you countless hours of enjoyment!

ehh i would start out with some one simple like the flash (my favorie) hes got an easy story line just dont pick a comic with a hard story line

maybe you could start with Sensational Spiderman. Back in Black and then wait for the Ghost Rider: Trial of Tears with art by Clayton Crain to come out this month

Go to a comic book shop and find something that looks interesting to you. If you find a book you like, find out who drew and wrote it, and find more from them!

Nah, no longer somewhat. Sorry, Darth. I do like a number of them, inspite of the shown fact that, yet often, i'm purely no longer a comedian form of guy. Deadpool and the cousins from Bone are my favorites. in all risk Bone. maximum possibly.

just go to a comic store. i reccomend manga, they can be funny, scary, or anything else.
