The only way that they will come after her is if you are unable to pay what you are ordered to pay her now. Once your married your responsibilities become her responsibilities. If you lose your job and she is the sole provider then they will go after her...I know this because I have collected money from my ex-husband's new wife when he was unemployed.

First of all, Do your taxes separately. Secondly, She can't get child support from your fiance unless you are unemployed, other than that, the money your fiance makes is for you and your fiance to spend.

It might depend on your state. In my case, the court looks at my income solely for the child support of my children, as long as I am not self-employed with my husband in a company.

Not at all. Your fiance has nothing to do with your child and the Court ordered child support.

I don't know where you live so I don't know the laws. They could be different. But here, if you owe childsupport YOU pay it. It's not your fiancee's responsability so they will not make her pay for things that you are entitled to pay for. They can, however, make you pay reguardless of whether or not you have an income.

your ex is not intitled to more than child support or alimony ordered by the court. this would not include any part of new wife's money.

no she can't touch what she makes however they (the court) can use her income to say she can pay the majority of the bills ( help support you ) and up your support for the child. but they can not use her income unless you are not working and she is supporting you .

Yes. You probably pay 24% of your income for the first child. It would be 17% for each child after that. That includes all income. Including your spouse. I am from NY.
