They have good a good personality and tempermant.
Unless they've been trained by a moron for the big time show ring. There's nothing worse as farrier than trying to work on a horse you can't touch or talk to to calm it down. Some of them you just have to sidle up to with out looking at them and hope for the best.
I love all my trail and pleasure trained clients. They're smart and sweet but a little impatient. My own mare's half Arab no sweet just cranky.

More stamina, better disposition, not as skid-dish on tail. easy to ride for long distances gait. What else? Oh! hearty as all get out require less care. stronger bones. Maybe not as fast so some other breeds but won't break down on you (go lame). I'd classify them as the Ford F-250's of the horse world.
OOP's forgot to mention smarter! You don't train them you teach them.
They are just a good all around dependable horse. and actually that says it all about them.
