Have you tried approaching your coach on how to improve for next year? There are coaches out there who really enjoy athletes who want to take their game to the next level. It does not have to be confrontational at all. Good luck!

It doesn't feel good, for sure. But if you have a stellar varsity team of seniors, you're pretty much stuck. If you love it, by all means keep playing! I gave up on playing BB my sophomore year because although I was a good player, I only saw 2 minutes of game time because the coach was prejudiced towards some of us from a different town. I had better stuff to do than run my butt off all afternoon, go on the road, and sit on the bench.

Don't get me wrong, I still love BB to this day, I just didn't like the politics involved.

It depends on how good your varsity team is. If they are rated in the top 10 in the country it's no disgrace to be JV.
