I think that the most important key in Indianapolis' win was the offense of the Bears. Because of the fact that Grossman didn't convert many 3rd downs, the Colts offense got great field position and many possessions, the key to Peyton Manning's greatness. The Colts' defence was not too exceptional, except near the end of the game. The jugular vein for the Bears was the poor offensive performance, multiple miscues, and poor ball management

I say it would have to be both....Why? The Colts defense was really good and didnt get any balls get passed them. With the bears though...the defense played for most of the game and Grossmen isnt bad.....its his FIRST year as QB on the bears team and his first time playing in the superbowl. The bears sucked last year since he was injured. This year he kicked the team up and maybe if you keep him long enough we(as in bears) will be back in the super bowl, when we learned from our mistakes and this time we will win. I wish we can have a rematch with the bears we had in around october....they were unbeatable and invinsable then. Also....the rain had something to do with it. You cant focus on a game when you are drenched and playing with a REALLY wet ball with the pressure of the superbowl. If it was a warm, sunny day I say the bears would have done better and we might of had a chance. But thats history now, and time for the Cubs and Sox and the bears getting into the superbowl again =]

A little of both.....but the Colt's defense really stepped it up after Manning called them out....they definitely had a lot of help from Grossman and his crap play though....god that guy sucks!! I'm so sick of people defending him and saying that he is not the only reason they lost the game and how the defense gave up so many yards and all this crap. Um hello, the defense was tired from being on the field all but 2 friggin minutes of the game!!! Grossman played like crap and couldnt keep the offense on the field, so his defense was super tired and thus his fault they played like crap. Oh and for the record....does Urlacher think he's fooling anyone into thinking he has never used roids? Nobody gets that big, that fast, just by working out and legal supplements. I'll bet he has small balls, rage and a lot of pimples on his back.

both...the colt's defense played way above themselves all through the playoffs and superbowl and the bears offense just really struggles sometimes and superbowl xli was one of those times.

Rex Grossman is the worst quaterback in the history of the NFL, so the indy d get 50% good and the chicago o get 50% brutal ( and thats being nice to grossman) I always wondered how he could hold his head up in the lockeroom knowing the rest of your team is playing their guts out and you suck as bad as grossman has, all season.

The Bears' offense was attrocious, and Wrecks Grossout was responsible for a good portion of it!
