Dr. Phil is a windbag on his own show, but he'd kind of funny as a guest on a show like Letterman's.
I only watch Oprah if I like her guests. Today John Travolta was on so I watched it.

Yeah, I usually like both, but sometimes they have really boring episodes. Like today - Oprah was pretty boring, but Dr. Phil was great.

My dad is a psychologist and says Dr. Phil has probably been banished from the American Psychological Association because psychologists are not supposed to give advice. Dr. Phil says he will answer your questions and solve your problems. I promise you he can't answer my questions, or solve my problems.

I like both of them as people. But I can only stand to hear about so much misery before I have had enough.
I had to quit watching them.
