My daughter is 14 years old ,and my wife thinks that i she shouldent be playing poker with me and the guys we play poker once a week ,you see my wife doesn't like our poker games because we swear ,talk about women ,drink ,play for money and fight during the poker game ,i remember one time i stabbed my friends hand on the table with my switchblade because he was cheating ,my wife thinks that this behavior is inapropriote for my daughter ,but i think its ok since they see all kind of things like that in school and that it is normal for a teenager to be exposed to it ,but my wife woulden't listen :( ,she also says that my friends are a bad influence on her because one of them is a convicted rapist ,but he didn't do anything to her ,but one time he did say she was sexy then i broke his nose ,but since i broke his nose i think he understand that if he come near my daughter he will be killed ,and another one of my friends is a drunk and my wife thinks this is also a bad influence

My husband plays poker every week, gets drunk, plays for money and also acts a fool at the table when he's drinking. (Think about it, if she was doing it and you were the one on the sidelines watching) Maybe what you could do is when you have your buddies over, tell them to bring their wives over so all the ladies can hang out together (this includes your daughter). I would get so pissed that my husband would be in the house doing his poker thing w/ the friends while I was stuck putting up w/ their immaturity, until he started bringing the guys' wives over and we started doing our own girly thing. Maybe you can also limit the poker outings to every other week and the weekends you are not playing poker use as as "family time". I wouldn't recommend your daughter at only 14 play poker - at least not for money. And while she may (or may not) see all sorts of things at school, that doesn't mean you should support it by exposing her to bad things in the home.

WOW i agree with your wife. That is something ur daughter should not be hanging around. And ur teaching her to be violent if she hauled off and punched a guy in the face. What type of father lets his daughter be near a rapist. IT doesnt matter if u broke his ****ing nose, hes still a rapist. Ur a BAD father maybe you should be locked up

Quite frankly, it seems very dangerous. Not all kids see that kind of stuff at school, and it would be better if you leave her out of the poker games. If you can't see this, I am very worried for your daughter.

it really is extremely uncool. Revenge isn't healthy interior the first position, and he or she's taken it way too a strategies. If she's in love with him, then report for divorce. If she needs to make it artwork with you, she needs to shrink it off with him. It appears like neither truly one of you ever extremely dedicated totally to the marriage. you pick some actual raw honesty with one yet another to make certain the position you're going.

It is against the law. I 100% agree with your wife. Your daughter is under age and it is illegal. The only way you can convince your wife is by asking a cop to get their opinion but you know they will say that it is against the law and it is morally wrong.
