a used f250 has rough idle w/ cold temp and cold trans fluid guages. Answers?

depends on year and type , but a newer ford f250 with a 5.8 would prob be air idle solenoid possible leakor bad they had problems around 2000 to present , and older model could be many factors , need more info, the trans guage if doesnt change with heat then is shorted or defective, but hope this helps
