I need to make a timeline on the computer how do i do it?

use paint or word.... its really good on microsoft word.

I would use Excel to do a timeline that way you can make certain time periods as big or small as you need. You can use the cells and color code them too and add text where you need it.

It might be easiest in Excel or Quattro Pro (spreadsheet programs) where you can draw lines and turn text sideways and change the font.

word or powerpoint, use the drawing toolbar and use lines, textboxes ect.
