porosity..think like a sponge.. porous is the holes ... the more porous something is..the more holes and openings it has.... permiability is how easilly something can come in or out of a substance.. if the ground is very very moist... it probably doesnt want more water in it.. so it isnt very permeable to new water...but very dry ground WANTS water..so it will be very permeable to any water it comes in contact with...i hope i helped!!!
