Stevie Nicks? One of the many rumours that have trailed along behind Stevie Nicks since she joined an ailing Fleetwood Mac in 1975 and helped to turn them into such a successful bands is that she is some kind of witch. Her swirling twirling passionate singing and manner certainly helped fuel the rumours.
Some rather credulous people believe her lyrics in songs like Rhiannon, Gold Dust Woman and even Sorcerer reference white magic and wiccan ritual. As further evidence they point to her music publishing company, Welsh Witch Music, an allusion to both the song Rhiannon and the Celtic lunar goddess who inspired it.
During the years of the 1970s and '80s Nicks has admitted that her lifestyle was wild enough for these kind of rumours to flourish. She also admits she pushed the witchy thing for professional purposes. Or so she says today!
Nicks is now 57 and far from witchy as you can imagine. She is no longer willing to hum or such romantic delusions.
As for the child, Avril, I think I saw her cashing in on the witchy phenomenon by using the pentacle in some of her first videos. Her attempt to reach the darker side and impress the little twitches (as baby witches are sometimes referred to) so that they would buy her music.

no she just dresses like that , it's for show , the clothes Stevie Nicks wears looks really wonderful on here and it looks like witches clothes so at the time Fleet the leader of Fleetwood mac kidded with somebody on Rollingstones mag that maybe the reason why Stevie wears thoughs clothes is that she's a witch an to this very day it seems lol it still works ,lol
