Hey people!

He is 15 years old and everytime he comes into my car, I smell this Horrible odor, he says there's nothing wrong and he doesn't smell anything. I now that he smells or something on him smells. It might be his head, feet, private areas, and something. What can he do for those areas? What can I do to help him? What can he do to stop smelling? Should he contact a doctor? Is this part of puberty? Is there something in his age that causes him to smell? Why can't he smell it? Should he or I be worried?
Well.....please contact me to talk about this or anything else....Im so lonely here........=)

He does take a shower, at least once every single day and sometimes more, so that is not a problem, and he uses body spray, it doesn't really help.....

Honey.. it's called "not showering".
Pick him up by the ears and dunk him into the nearest water fountain. He'll learn!

Dee, you need to ask other people besides yourself if they, too, can smell something on your cousin. If they agree that he has an odor, then lovingly talk to him in a private place where you two are alone & nobody else can hear.
Take him to a health food store & buy a liquid product called ""Chlorophyll". It is sweet tasting. Only 1 spoonful a day will clear up foot odor, body odor, bad breath odor; odor from any part of the body. It is very healthy & helps flush poisons known as toxins out of the human body, so it feels better.
Good luck!

Well right off I would guess that his personal hygiene is not very good.
He needs to shower with soap every day and use deodorant, that may be part of the problem.
If it is his feet he may have athletes feet, or may not be washing them correctly using his hands, a face cloth and soap, he needs to do in between the toes too.
There are also all kinds of powders out there that can help for foot odor.
His private parts need to be washed well too and if he is uncircumcised he needs to pull the skin back and wash it like that and rinse well.
Of course he needs to wash his hair and rinse it well too.
You need to talk to him because if you are smelling it so is everyone else and that will not do him any good.
Good Luck.

The main thing to start of with is his diet. Does he eat much junk food? Some people are more sensitive to body abuse and he may be one of them. How many showers does he take a day? Maybe he needs to take more. Does he change his underwear and socks everyday? If he is clean, he just needs to change his diet!!! Its not normal to smell so bad. He also should drink plenty of water. Let me know if he is willing to try this. He probably doesn't smell it because he is used to it. You know, sometimes your house smells like something but you can't tell, you live there! That is normal.

First of all, smellovision will one day replace television. I saw it on an old episode of Bugs Bunny.
Now more to the point, it all depends on what he smells like. Generally, boys need a shower and deodorant every day. But if it is not sweat, then it may be something he eats or he may be ill.

Jud is closest to an answer and some of the answers are downright cruel!
Where an odour is caused by food. Change eating habits.
When an odour is caused by diseased gums (very common) clean teeth better.
When an odour is caused by not cleaning properly some part of the body. Clean it!
All of these are usually bacterial caused "smells" and are not good for us, or your cousin.
Nevertheless (and there;s always a "nevertheless") he may just have different pheromones from those we are used to. He is "clean" just different.
Deodorants might make him "fit in" if he wants to.

A clean living person get up with the sunrise or earlier, showers and puts on plain clean clothes, fresh each day. Without asking people personal questions just form the habit of having only clean living friends, and avoiding others as completely as is possible. To avoid attracting them at all, clean up your mind with music, philosophy, helping others, study and self improvement--and you will hopefully bore them all way and make way for delightful clean minded clean living people.

First, buy him a nice "gift": put together a basket of personal hygiene products. Include anti-perspirant, anti-bacterial body soap (Dial is good!), men's shampoo/conditioner, etc. Second, offer to show him how to do laundry. If that doesn't work, tell him about a (fake) boy you know that smells horrible. Disparage the fake boy and talk badly about how awful he smells and what he must do (or not do) to smell that way. Hopefully your cousin will see himself in that boy. And if that fails, TELL HIS MOM (or dad)!!! EWW!!

Tell him to drink more water, he might not drink enough water.
my advise is when he wake up do not wash mouth or tooth brush, first thing drink 4 glass of water but start with 2 glass than slowly increase it to 4, after water do not put anything in mouth for 45mints than breakfast. after breakfast or dinner do not drink any water wait for 45 mints and do not eat later than 7.30pm. Also tell him bath twice a day do not eat any onion, coffee, cola, also do yoga this will help many way after 4 to 6 months he will be difference person
