At about 1, but I would ask your pediatrician. Good luck.

Normally you can stop at around 12 months and progress onto a follow on milk or straight to cows milk (or soya) remember this has to be full fat as the baby still needs the nutrients. Some people use a combination of both for a few days until the baby gets used to cows milk. You also need to ensure that the baby is getting all other nutrients from their food so a good balanced diet is required, and if the diet is good there is no need for a seperate vitamin supplement.

usually around 12 months you can also buy formula for babies 9-18 months as well. I don't know what the difference is in the formula from the birth to 12 months to the 9 to 18 months though.

the drs will tell you to wait until your baby is a year old then switch them to whole milk. my daughter came off formula right at 12 months with no problem. i took my son off of formula at about 10 1/2 months and put him on whole milk. he was ready early. he started turning his bottles away which was fine with me because as im sure you know formula gets expensive at $25 every week.

We started whole milk as a supplement at 9 months, just once a day to get her used to the taste.
At 10 months we took one bottle away and rel paced it with a sippy of whole mike and a snack.
we took the other bottle away at 11 months and just kept the night bottle of formula.
And at 1 year, we took switched from formula to toddler formula at night only, just as a supplement. I will probably take her off around 18 months or so.

Our daughter is 13 months old and she only drinks whole milk now. We started easing her onto whole milk when she turned a year, and she's been off the formula completely for about two weeks now.

Typically at age 1 you can switch to whole milk. Then at age 2 you can switch to whatever type of milk you're family drinks. However, we ended up just continuing the whole milk for a few more years.
