Alright well bought a dope hoody the other day.
80% polyester/20% cotton.
And stuck it in the washer then into the dryer.

Pulled the sucker out an hour later and I got this freakin fluff stuff all over it!
Its mostly black with some colours on it, but when I pulled it out of the dryer it was a much lighter black, like a "really old sweater black" mixed with some grey.

And had this white fluff looking stuff all over it, kind of like really small hair but not really. ( I know I'm awesome at explaining )

Anyways I thought I messed it up..who wants to mess up a hundred dollar hoody anyways?
But if you wet it, it turns back to its previous condition. A much darker black and clear of fluff.

Is there anyway to get it to stay like that?

I think this was caused from using warm/hot water in the washer and regular on the dryer.
The tag says, wash separately cold water, and tumble dry.

Any suggestions/thoughts would be much appreciated~!!
Thanks

try washing it inside out in cold water and never put sweat shirts in the dyer. if this doesn't work try a sweater fuss remover. good luck gina

Try using a tape roller to get rid of the fluffies and next time you wash it, do it according to the directions.
