The poster above me referred to a size 0-2 as a 24-27 inch waist. So the reason some of those VS models look good is because they are not a true size 0's!

A true size 0 is a measurement of 31 inches for the bust -what bust? 23 inches for the waist - is she 10 years old? And for the hips, 33 inches around the widest part - does she even have hip bones, where is her butt?

The only time a size 0 would look acceptable is if the girl is very small boned, i.e. naturally that small and not forced down to an unhealthy weight and size.

You don't have to be a size 0 to look good. The size 0 models are way too skinny and this can cause them so many health problems. Everyone's built different and bodys come in all different shapes and sizes. So, to say that a good size to be is a size 2 is wrong because not everyone would look good as a size too (actually a lot of people don't).

i'm a size 0 and i am not too skinny!! you can't see my bones or anything like people are suggesting. it is so annoying because people assume anyone who is a size 0 is anorexic and i am not, nor will i ever be, anorexic! i think that is gross and not a good thing to do to your body. i eat a lot i just cant seem to gain any weight and i dont look sickly.

but yea that is all i have to say.

there is nothing wrong with the people themselves, but they are role models as well as catwalk models and size 0 is unrealistic for a lot of girls, so it's kinda irresponsible to be advertising that as a good look.

Size 0 is the average for an 8 year old, so it's a bit of a challenge for an 18 year old to stay that small.

there should be more of a mix of all sizes so that people know that its ok to be whatever you want to be!!!

Size zero is great
So is size twenty.
As long as you are healthy thats all that matters!

Gross, we can't all be choosy about our size and if you're born with it you really can't help it but those type of people often have a small chest and flat a## too. They are what some would refer to as a bean pole. For those who starve themselve to be that way please! When walking down the runway keep in mind this clothes HANGS off them most of the time. Also considering most women that are no longer in high school or college, are a size 6 or above, we need to see how the clothes forms to the body when worn on a size 6,8,10 and so on. How does it drape the body what does it like around the stomach area and the chest area. But with size zero models we don't get that idea of how the clothes will look when it's off the runway and in the stores.

What passes for size 0 now is partly due to changes in sizing that the fashion industry did to make more women think they were smaller. As for anorexic models: they must be stopped. Lol. It is just so ridiculous (and unhealthy!)

I'm not a guy, but from my own point of view...if I WANTED to see what clothing looked like on a hanger, I'd look at it on the hanger. I don't need to see it on a walking corpse. Thin is good if you're a HEALTHY thin. To envy those super thin models is to envy people on the brink of death. Someone who is naturally a size 0...CAN look healthy, but some of these models are well below even a size 0. It's really very sad to see what people are willing to do to themselves just so other people will reward them for that self torture in some way.

most of these answers are showing that mostly all of you think that a size 0 girl is anorexic, ribs showing, no feminine features or whatever, but thats just plain stupid, true at some times but stupid. Victoria's secret? i cant think of one guy that wouldnt mind dating a girl from victoria's secret? They're all size 0-2 models, with natural busts and feminine hips, OBVIOUSLY they are airbrushed and edited, but since when did guys care about that? Dont stereotype a girls figure by their waist size until youve seen them, I know plenty of girls that are size 0-2 aka 24" -27" waists, and they have B or even C bra sizes, and it isnt that hard for most of them to fill out their back pockets. Its a lot easier to gain weight, than to loose it also. reconsider your answers

I don't think anybody would fancy her, you look like you could snap her. Looks like something out of a concentration camp.

No Rose that is not a size 0. I was 26'' and a size10. I was certainly not a size 0.
The typical measurements for a size 0 are 23in waist, 31in bust and 33in hips. Nicole Ritchie and Victoria Beckham are a size 0 and they get alot of stick for being so thin. Apparently they can fit into jeans a 7 year old can wear. That's not right!

Models that are size 0 are gross. Unless they are naturally thin. I can understand if it's natural. They don't look gross, and it's their body type. But, if you throw up and starve yourself, then that is disgusting. Hope I could help.
