and to get all bubbly... i'm instantaneous... my lava lamp needs very little coaxing...

if your lava lamp is getting bubbly then you may want to see a doctor, though the real question is how long does your lava lamp stay heated up ;)

Depending on the temperature of the room, it can take 10 minutes or longer. The liquid and the "lava" both have to heat up, so give the lamp extra time. Good luck!
