No marriage is equal. The whole point is to bring your own strengths to the table. Each of us has specific chores that we do. He takes out the garbage. I can do it, but he usually volunteers or I ask him to. I wash the pots and pans. He doesn't ask, but I like to cook without left over bits of egg on the pan. We didn't sit down at the beginning and say "you will do this and I will do this". We just came to the conclusion over the years. I can be fully dressed and he will get dressed to go to the corner store for cat food in the middle of the night, because I forgot to get it when I left work. That is the 'man' in him telling me that I am special and cared for, and that he doesn't want me to get hurt by being out late at night. I make sure he has clean underwear and a good meal, because that is the 'woman' in me telling him that I will take care of him and his needs. We take care of each other in our own special ways.

i will see the place somebody would not desire a flighty insecure, needy, psychotic man or woman who seeks consistent compliment or exaggerates something to benefit interest as their spouse yet..... i will assure you no longer all American white women persons are like this, nor are those features attested to a minimum of one race or citizenship on my own! so some distance as using grandiose language and dressing provocatively...... nicely i assume if my husband became into somebody that discovered this as a favorable characteristic..... then i may be his cat's meow! Prejudice is an particularly very unattractive high quality!

It's because many men are still raised to believe that the females in their lives "owe" them servitude. Most women just don't want to get stuck with all the chores on top of a job and maybe kids, in exchange for sex. It's easier to live alone if you have to fight for your partner to behave like an adult.

Women look for equality in all aspects of there life. I believe that when it comes to marriage they want the person their married to respect just as anyone. When a woman feels that there is an inequality at home that's when the usual " It's your turn..." response comes up. Therefore that the feeling of being under appreciated for a womens "job", will leave her looking for equality.

you're right about the 100/100, but you fail to realize that 100=100 and therefore *is equal* (although the 100's are averaged, in reality it's always unequal but evens out over time). and that's equality in marriage. you should take your turn without having to be reminded. you don't get something for nothing.
your question makes no sense. it sounds like you're trying to get out of doing the dishes.

Because it's a place where they can be powerful and complacent. The guy doesn't want to have affections withheld or to have an angry woman quietly storming around the house. Women who don't feel empowered to make their point elsewhere can far too often get away with it with the man they live with. It's an extremely mislead form of feminism, when it is as such. Sometimes, the woman is married to a louse, and it really is unfair to her. But, they should have talked about these things and picked up on lifestyle clues before getting married, eh. Most women are neither logical or fair when it comes to scorekeeping. This tendency is one of the reasons their man will blow her off further. Basically, the only semi-viable offsetting factors are that men don't get periods, have babies, or do as good of a job nurturing very young children.

Marriage is a matter of balance. You do you certain things that you are good at or enjoy doing. Plus if you're religious and christian, you are one body one "soul" when joined in holy matrimony.

My religion gives me certain rights and my husband certain rights. My husband has certain rights than me because he has to provide for the family and protect me and our children. But other than that it's eqaul. He doesn't care what I do as long as I take care of the home and the children which I do.

My husband and I don't play that game. If the dishes need to be done then one of us does them. If neither one of us feels up to doing them that day then they wait until the next day. It's not unheard of for me to be out doing the yard work and him doing the laundry. I wash the boat while he does the dishes....etc.
If he is feeling lazy then so what. I just do it or I dont. I don't complain if things aren't done or he leaves clothes thru out the house. Life is too precious and short to stress over the petty stuff. Our house is not dirty, but it is lived in.
