Dude you can't chose a President based on one determining factor. You are not, in a reasonable country going to overturn Roe v Wade, its just not going to happen. If you like all of his policies but chose to vote against him because of 1 belief, you are doing your fellow conservatives a disservice by spending your vote on a non-viable 3rd party candidate. Rudy voted for gun control, I hate that, but he is not going to get gun control passed so I won't worry about that. I like the man, he has integrity, he's a good guy. And any vote not for the Republican candidate in '08 is going to be a vote for the Democrat let me assure you. Its going to be a dogfight.

His pro abortion stance would not keep me from voting for him. If I felt that by making abortion illegal it would stop abortions, I would be all for it.
I grew up in a time when it was illegal. Abortion did not stop. It just hid in the back alley, some smelly room, dirty places you wouldn't want to keep your dog. I knew women who had abortions & they were taking their lives into grave danger but they did it anyway. There was such stigma to having a child out of wed-lock they felt they had no other out.
If it is made illegal again, the dirty guy with the tools & maybe the knowledge will again emerge from the dark.
I don't believe that any woman should be allowed to have 3/4/5 abortions. This type of woman should be sterilized. Because she dosen't care.
I do believe that a scared 16 yr old, whose family have thrown her out onto the streets, the guy has skipped, the girl has no skills in being a Mother or providing for herself or a child should be denied a safe legal abortion, once. She should then be taught how to keep safe from having it happen to her again. Sent back to school to learn skills & have a decent life. She is not a criminal, she either made a mistake, was a victim of rape or incest. The rest of her life should not be ruined.

First of all, Guilani is not a politician. He has no qualifications for being president.. kinda like Bush. His only claim to fame is the fact that he was mayor of NY on 9/11. He simply let the people do their jobs. He has no experience with foreign policy, he has no domestic plan. If you are so dead set against abortion, vote for mccain, or some other republican. but Preferrably someone who has experience.

I am extremely pro-life. I like Guliani but I dont know what to do as far as voting. I guess I will have to see how things play out. Id rather not vote than vote for a democrat though. Thats a tough one. By the way barney, pro-choice is the same thing as pro-abortion. Tell me the difference.

To many folks, it will make him more acceptable. He goes up in my book for being pro-choice. And McCain only offers lip service to the antiabortion people. He's not going to come out and say it, but he would do nothing to undermine a woman's choice of what to do with her body and he is sensible enough to KEEP THE DAMN GOVERNMENT OUT OF PEOPLE'S PERSONAL LIVES.

As a non-republican, Rudy would be the first republican presidential candidate I would support for president. He is the republican party's only chance of winning.

Of course, but I wouldn't vote for him even if he claimed to be pro-life.

No that won't keep me from voting for him, what will keep me from voting for him is the fact he is another dumb repuglican and America does not need another one of those, again.
