I could be driving by myself, if not I will either have a friend or a relative with me.

So everyone knows: I am going from Ann Arbor, Mich. to Reno, Nevada. No Vegas for me.

Yes, you can easily do it in three days. If you push things, you could probably do it in two. Head down to the Indiana Toll Road (I-80), and just keep heading west. The speed limit is 70mph in Iowa and 75 everywhere west of there, and you'll notice most of the traffic travels faster than that.

Sure it's possible. I did it in 4 or 5, but was not in a rush. Averaged ~8 hours driving a day. Took the 94 to the 80 to the 15. My advice is just to stay awake in Nebraska and Wyoming - very tempting to sleep at the wheel with cruise control on in those quiet stretches of flat road.
Used priceline.com for my hotel stays, as there are plenty of vacancies in cities like Omaha and Cheyenne.

It's 30 hours and 36 minutes... so if you drive for about 10 hours each day then yes it is possible. I moved from colorado to Maine in about 4 days with a snow storm... so you should definitely be able to get there in that amount of time!

Yes, it is possible but it is going to be a very long haul. Is there anyone going with you? I don't think you should drive for more then 6-8 hours without taking a couple hour break. If you try to push it then you are risking your life and those around you. Driving tired is as bad as driving drunk.

YOU COULD GET THERE IN A DAY IF YOU ONLY STOP FOR GAS AND SUCH. IT'S ABOUT 20 HOURS, DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU ARE GOING IN NEVADA. I ASSUME LAS VEGAS! :) I WENT FROM NORTH CAROLINA TO MINNESOTA IN 30 HOURS, BUT I STOPPED AND TOOK A 6 HOUR NAP IN KENTUCKY AT A REST STOP. YOU HAVE TO FACTOR IN GAS STOPS AND POTTY BREAKS AND FOOD STOPS TOO. YOU'LL HAVE NO PROBLEMS IF SOMEONE IS DRIVING WITH YOU AND YOU TAKE TURNS DRIVING AND SLEEPING. DOING IT ALONE SUCKS, BUT I LIKED IT. GREYHOUND OR AN AIRPLANE WOULD BE FASTER, BUT HEY, WHAT FUN WOULD THAT BE???

NOPE. You can't leave the county until your probation is over and done with. If you leave Macomb county they can REVOKE YOUR PROBATION and put out a warrent for your arrest. Awwww, you'll be very upset. Guess you shouldn't have gotten caught with alcohol/drugs then.

I went from Ohio to Texas in one day, so I'm sure you could make it from Michigan to Nevada in 3, unless you're in the upper peninsula!
