It's an old movie from 1979. Similar to Xanadu, it's a roller skating movie but about some regular joe and his friends and a gang of skaters competing in a sort of dance-off on skates. (Sounds corny, but bear with me!) It was Patrick Swayze's debut film, Scott Baio, Flip Wilson and Maureen McCormick (Marsha from Brady Bunch) are also a few actors in it. The movie isn't great, but the soundtrack was awesome for that time!! Too bad it was never released on video, as far as I know.

Funny thing though, I have the movie taped from t.v. on a Betamax tape...and I still have a Betamax player!!! And it works!!!

I only know of three people besides myself who have seen this movie.

It is more like Roll Bounce than Xanadu.

Its just a typical paint by numbers horror movie that really does nothing to set itself apart from anything else in the genre. Its sad to, because Kane could be such a great horror movie star, but they need to give him better then this if they want him to suceed. The one thing that makes Kane so scary (besides his massive size and look) they dont even use in the movie and thats him setting up after what looks like something that would totally kill the average person. That was a HUGE mistake to not do at least one time in the movie IMO.

Hahaha...sounds awesomely cheesy...I would love to see it! But alas...I never have. And holy cow...betamax...and a working one? You should donate it to a museum! lol. Good for you for hanging onto it for this long though.
