Some people MUST vote across party lines or Clinton would never have become President. America is almost 50/50 on party lines but it is the swing voters who always decide the election.

The last election convinced me that Americans will NOT stick to party lines. The American people wanted a change and Congress would not have changed if a lot of Republicans didn't cross over in Republican states like Texas, Montana , Missouri etc. and vote for the Democrat.

Americans don't have a choice. The 2 party duopoly won't let people outside their influence and party debate or run side by side. If American had voted for the best person for the job in any election, it wouldn't have been for a republican or a democrat. Unfortunately, the best person for the job is never elected. so, yes it will be strictly party lines.

America is polarized even though the Republicans lost enough and Dubya is attempting to draw all anger to him so they do NOT lose the White House giving the Democrats control of the Executive and Legislative. If the Democrats study and learn HOW the Republicans kept control of two branches and almost the Judicial Branch through appointments of sycophants an example is Clarence Thomas who will NEVER a protege of Thurgood Marshall (July 2, 1908 – January 24, 1993) nor be as eloquent and intelligent.

authentic tale: develop into an autonomous for over 25 years. I used to vote as frequently for Republicans as I did for Democrats, balloting the fellow and under no circumstances a celebration. yet, I have watched the Republicans develop right into a unique celebration, an finished different entity than they have ever been, interior the perfect seven years that Bush has been in place of work. After witnessing their Karl Rove form smear politics, their rubber stamp Congress for Bush, their Senators criticizing Bush yet then no longer having the middle to dollar the celebration and vote with the Democrats, their fall from "moral" bastions to disgraced hypocrisy, and their purpose to keep this conflict going no count what? I joined the Democratic celebration 3 months in the past. After what i have witnessed interior the perfect seven years, i am going to vote for yet another Republican even as pigs sprout wings and fly over Chicago. ANY Democrat will be extra perfect than everyone from the Republican celebration. even as they take lower back their celebration from the neocons they could get my vote lower back. I received't carry my breath. you assert you detect it insulting that human beings vote the celebration. yet lately, i stumble on it disgusting and dazzling that when what the Republicans have carried out to this usa, that any authentic Democrat might want to even evaluate casting a vote for truly one of them.

I vote party because the Democratic Party has the candidates whose positions I agree with. Give me a Republican who I can agree with (McCain sometimes does) and I'll consider it. But when the mainstream of the GOP consists of Bush, Frist, Newt, Santorum, Cheney, I say the hell with them.

Strictly Party Lines.
If people voted for the best person, the Democrat Party would become extinct.
(Unless people enjoyed paying more taxes and becoming little socialists/communists.)
