there are ways around the emissions test thats not what i'm worried about is there a piggie back system that will give a set fuel mixture instead of running off of what the o2 sensor reads?

I don't know how you clean one out. I have taken a metal rod and knocked out all the 'honeycomb' in a car that didn't have an 02 sensor downwind of it. The only problem I see is getting anything flamable near them since they are very very hot.

Besides higher than normal exhaust emissions and a possible a check engine light for o2 sensor codes, you would fail an emissions test if your state requires one..

Your computer will throw codes and your O2 sensors will read the engine is running too lean..... I would just out on a high flow cat converter....

It depends on what you consider cleaning, and what you used to do the job. If you just ran a cleaner through the system that is catalytic converter safe, then you should be fine. If you physically removed the converters and used something else to clean them out, then you could have an early failure of the catalyst.
