I agree that we are fast becoming a "Nation of Idiots". Read half the questions on this site and it will let you now just how "dumbed-down" we really have become. Creative spelling, atrocious grammar, and very unclear questions indicates that maybe we should be reading more instead of going to movie and playing video games. Movies will have to be "dumbed-down" if no one understands the English language anymore. The US is also becoming a "Tower of Babble". How many languages can a teacher be responsible for teaching? It is no wonder books are becoming "out of fashion", as language and learning become confounded by having a variety of different cultures in one place that don't speak, read, or even understand the same language.

I don't think so, people are getting so into techology that they have put books aside, I think movies will stay. Its an easy form of entertainment for lazy people( excuse the expression), so that they don't have to really do anything such as turn a page.

I believe they already are, our schools, our media, our books, TV, and movies have all become dumbed down. We are slowly becoming a nation of idiots.

I like dumb movies, that way I can pay more attention to the popcorn and milkduds I love so dearly.

hi there no cause money plus actor/actress =movies and entertainment= more money in which cable etc make thier money out of US WE PAID they make! ( Now songs some music out there gives me the chilly willy in my belly when will they ever stop.
so u see one can not be with out the other!!!!!! PASS THE POPCORN BE WELL BE SAFE
