Who is the best NBA,NFL and Baseball player to have there career cut short by either unfortunate injury or death before there career really got started?

Bo Jackson, his career got started, but he woulda been a hof if he got started, but got hurt. Imagine him and Marcus Allen in the same backfield, with a young Tim Brown on the same team. And he was pretty good at baseball too.

Well, seeing as this is the football area I'll just answer for NFL players.

Although his career did start (which, really it HAS to start to have an idea of whether or not they'll be great), I'd say Terrell Davis. He looked like he could have gone down as one of the best RBs in history.

I might also say Bo Jackson, but he didn't even have the numbers to brag about (sure, he was a back-up, but TD had 6413 yards and 56 TDs in his first 4 years, only to get hurt after gaining 2008 yards in a season).
