If possible learn it with a friend. Break the piece to be memorised into sections of about five lines and learn a section at a time. Reading, hearing, and reciting is how you will do it.
Read the section together out loud. Using a card, cover over the words at the end of the line. Read out aloud again and read out the covered over words. Cover over the next words in, and read the whole section again. Keep covering over more words until the whole of the section is covered.
Then try writing the section out.
Repeat the procedure with the other sections until you have mastered the whole lot.

Everyone is different in their best ways of memorization. I suggest experimenting with what makes it easier for you but if you are in a hurry, here is my fastest way:
Read the 20 lines of text thoroughly once or twice. Than, type/write (whichever one is faster) the things you need to memorize. Than, reread repeatedly until you get it inside your head.
IF YOU ARE MEMORIZING a monologue or a script, the best thing to do is actually read it once or twice. Than, without looking at the script, say what you remember out loud. Than, if you get stuck, look at the script and see what you have to say. Keep doing this until you can say it all out loud without having to check the script.

I sympathize with you; I hate memorization, but here goes:
Read them aloud, close your eyes and try to recite, repeat.
Repeat this process several times a day until the lines become second nature.
Good luck.
