I'm in biology and I've been searching it for a while and I cannot find it....any help????

An endothermic(requires energy) reaction that builds a larger molecule from smaller more basic ones. An example would be the construction of a protein in the body by joining amino acids together. And yes Oxygen can be used, usually in the form of water. Anabolic (to build), Catabolic (to break down).
