I have had it for a number of weeks and have been getting fitter and lost some body fat and can now see it more. in the past i have banged that part of my body and it was bruised for a while. i am 25 dont smoke and have a good level of fitness

In all likely hood it is just a fatty cyst. It has nothing to do with your weight. My sister (all 5'3" and 100 lbs of her) gets them. If you have discomfort, see your Dr and have it removed.

I hope you can see a Dr. about this as should it be a cyst, it can easily be drained and the sign it hurts is a it's not benign. But can't fathom how you banged the lower part of that extremedy?
I don't have my Medical Books here, therefore can't remember 4 the life of which side r appendix is on, however u may know. I wish I could help you more!! Appendix on left, rule that out.

Go see a doctor. Cysts don't usually hurt, but neither does cancer. ask your doc.
