THE FOUNTAIN!!! I would discuss this movie for days with anyone! I absolutely love everything about this movie: the actors/actresses, the plot, the message, the phenomenal use of lighting and special effects, plus, THE MUSIC! What a jewel Darren Aronofsky has delivered to us once again. I suggest this movie extremely high to anyone who likes Aronofsky's Requiem of a Dream or just good sci-fi movies in general.

Other movies I enjoyed in 2006:

Stranger than Fiction
The Pursuit of Happyness
V for Vendetta
See No Evil

Overated Movies and/or Movies I would never see again:

Running Scared
Lady in the Water
Pirates of the Carribean
Blood Diamond

You're right. The Guardian was the best movie I'd seen in a long time.

Just saw "Because I said So" I loved it. Next would be "The Phantom of the Opera" (that follows the broadway production).

ah ONE movie is difficult:

"Serenity" for sheer cinematic beauty.
"Kingdom of Heaven" director's cut because it's plain cool and blows "Alexander" (any version) out of the water).
of all time would probably be "Amadeus"
