I recently bought a pair of prescription eye glasses (not sun glasses) made by Gucci; I realized they are uncomfortable and now Im left with a pair of glasses I dislike; the shop I bought them at does not accept returns. Does anyone know where I can personally re-sell them? I looked on Ebay, but it seems that no one buys from there for frames.

Thanks for the tip - but I'd really prefer not to donate a pair of 700 glasses that I just got two weeks ago.

Thanks - will check the optical shops in my area. The glasses are part of the brand new 2007 collection and most shops dont even have them yet. THANKS!

maybe u can put an ad in the paper some cities have a "free" paper where u dont have to pay to list it, also there are older glasses shops that might buy them, in my city i know the owners of an optical shop, but i believe them to b going outta business but they used to buy them ALLL the time! so i think if u find a optical shop that is independently owned u should have some luck!GL

If you're just looking to get rid of them, I suggest donating them. Lots of churches and women's shelters accept them so that they can replace the lenses and give the glasses to someone who can't afford to buy them.

Now when you say "wooden frame," do you mean in a window frame? Or a picture frame? I'm going to assume window frame. Well the sealant is called glazing. Why would you need to rent a suction cup? Is it a big piece? If it's not too big, and you're careful, you don't need to spend the money on renting one. It's not very difficult at all to replace a broken panel. There's just certain steps you should follow. Basically, they are 1) Clear out the old broken piece. 2) Make SURE the new piece is the right size and shape before trying to put it in. 3) Prep the frame and add your glazing. 4) Install the pane and secure with glazier's pins or whatever is called for. 5) Reattach trim if any. If you're not sure of your abilities in doing a job like this, it would be worth it to pay to have it done. $75 is a pretty good price. Edit- I'm sorry, I was under the impression that your glass was cracked or chipped. Yes, if it's just loose in the frame, most definitely re-seat it. Also, if it's the wavy or cast glass, the suction cup won't stick to it anyway as the surface isn't smooth enough to make a good seal.
