to copy a CD data to Floppy dick

let say if your total data on CD is 1.4MB and less
so that wont be problem to store it on floppy

if more ( no problem ) :) .. thank zip and rar :)
BUT it will take more floppies :D

if the data you want to copy from CD is 700MB
you will zip it ( by split it ) every 1.3MB that will be ± 539 floppy dick
:)

have fun

First, create a temp folder on your hard drive. Then insert the CD into the CD drive, browse to it in Windows Explorer, select the document or folders you want to copy, right-click and select "Copy", then browse to the temp folder, right-click, and select paste. Then insert the floppy disk, and follow the procedure in reverse. You may want to start copying the files individually to ensure that either all of the files will fit onto the disk, or if not, then you know exactly which ones are already on the disk and which are not. Keep in mind that the capacity of a CD or DVD is much larger than that of a floppy disk, so you may have to use multiple disks.

first you should know that floppy disk can store little information comparing with the CD , well start by copying the information from the CD , then go to the floppy disk and right click , then select paste , i think thats all what you can do

there are two ways to do this.
1 - "explore" the cd then open another window to "explore" the floppy disk. drag the information from one window to another.
2 - open wutever it is on the disc u want to transfer. click save as and change the destination to the floppy drive

a million) do not carry out a lot wish. After 10 years a floppy may no longer be readable. 2) detect a computing device restore keep. they typically have a computing device with a floppypersistent (I have some, only for that purpose) or a USB floppypersistent. convey a USB stick (flashpersistent, thumbpersistent) to positioned the report(s) on. they could even do it for you for loose. (i'd, although the vacation up right here may make it more low priced that you'll purchase a floppypersistent - less intense priced.)

Open your CD data you want to copy by going to "My Computer", right-click on your CD, go "Open", browse to the directory (folder) and/or file you can to copy, right click on it and then click on "Send To..." and click on the letter of your floppy drive which is always A: (you will see the icon of your floppy drive anyway) click OK and wait until it finishes copying your file to your floppy and you are set.

If you want to copy several files, you can mark them by holding Shift and while you're holding that Shift key, move your arrow keys (up and down) mark all the files you want to copy make them all blue.....then right click on all that bunch and do the same as above "Send To..." click on your A: drive, and all those files will be send to your floppy.

Now, keep in mind that a CD can hold either 650 or 700 MB, while a floppy can hold 1.44 MB or 2.88 MB (depending on your floppy drive) so it will me impossible to copy an entire CD to one floppy. - If you would want to copy a full CD of 700 MB, I would say you will easily need around 600 floppies, and stay there for the rest of this year copying to floppies.....hahaha! :)

Good luck, see you next Christmas if that's what you're going to do, I mean copy the entire CD to floppies!

I hope this helped.
