This is NOT a typical server not found problem!

I have 2 dedicated servers, they both work fine. On one server I have 200 accounts. Now occasionally 100 or so of these accounts I cannot access via the web. I can still access the other 100 and these are all on identical IP's. The 100 websites I cannot access are still there because I can still view them going via a proxy so I am being blocked somewhere. Now on that same server I can still always see 100 of those accounts. It appears its only the newer accounts that occasionally give me the "server not found error"

As I said I have 200 websites (accounts) and 100 (the new ones) occasionally report back "server not found" when I try to view them via the www. They are definetly still there as they can be viewed via a proxy. After a while (usually a few hours) I can then view them again as normal.

Question is why is it doing this? When they are down I cannot work on them.

Just to add my mail server is blocked also.

I had this issue once..so of corse called service provider who came and checkedout the modem...he did change out ot a newer model as the one I had was know to cause that same issue..however, I still got the error...turned out that somehow my computer had gotten a bad IP address...and what I had to do was a clean install..but hopefully you won't have to do this. But maybe is your modem?

Ur issue clearly indicates that there is a problem in the gateway. U r able to access when the gateway is clear. If u have a router behind the modem.... ensure that the firmware is upgarded n is the latest one. Also check with the modem, coz that is the primary gateway.
