I got my cartildge pierced done in October and just about a month ago I noticed a bump, for about three weeks I have been applying Tea Tree Oil and haven't seen a difference in the size of the bump, what should I do to have to bump disapear?

This could be a keloid (Scar tissue mass) this sometimes happens on cartilage piercings especially on those who are darker skinned. I worked for a dermatologist for years and saw tons of people with them. Some are small and some can keep growing. There is really nothing that you can do for this aside going to the doctor for removal. But it is completely benign (will not hurt you) although it might not be pretty to look at. You can also look Ear Keloid up on line for more info

I was told that you should put a wet tea bag on there and leave it for about 10 minutes, the piercers told me that would work.

I had several cartlidge piercings and none of them healed properly, although i have other piercings that healed great. It could also be a reaction to the type of jewellery you have in there.

I've got my nipple pierced, lip and belly button and none of those hurt half as much as cartlidge piercings, i hate them sooo much and they never heal. i had to take all mine out

1. Remove earring
2. Clean the bump
3. Apply Bacitracin Antibiotic also known as First Aid Ointment
4.Then wait 1 week for recovery

i think thats just scar tissue dude... i dunno - if it is, it might shrink a bit if you put like neosporin or something on it, but as far as i know theres not a lot to do as of that.
